Solution Overview

for

Public owners / contracting authorities, Private developers, Subcontractors / trades, Facility managers / asset operators
Industrial companies, site operators, equipment rental companies and lifting operators

On construction sites, co-activity risks тАФ interactions between pedestrians, vehicles, lifting operations and constantly changing work zones тАФ are among the main causes of serious accidents. Fall risks also remain highly significant. Prevention still relies largely on essential but limited measures: signage, procedures, training, safety briefings and recurring reminders. Personal protective equipment helps reduce the consequences of an accident тАФ helmets, safety shoes and high-visibility clothing тАФ but does not always prevent it from happening. In noisy, mobile and complex environments, these measures are not sufficient on their own. Connected safety is now ready for large-scale deployment, provided it is simple, autonomous, reliable, quick to install, adapted to real working conditions and able to alert people at the right time without generating repeated false alarms.

Our Solution:

Sharing Worker develops connected safety solutions combining active prevention with safety intelligence. They detect hazardous situations in real time between workers, vehicles, suspended loads and risk areas, then immediately alert exposed workers and equipment operators to create shared vigilance. The individual device, worn on the wrist or attached to a helmet, can also detect a fall and notify a supervisor. Beyond alerts, our platform monitors adoption, including whether the device is actually worn, and analyses site interactions such as repeated close-proximity events, near misses and risk areas. Using data and AI, it provides HSE teams and site managers with indicators, alerts and heatmaps to adapt site organisation, target prevention actions and continuously improve safety.

How it works:

Sharing Worker differs from solutions based solely on audible alarms, cameras, fixed infrastructure or protective equipment. Our technology creates shared vigilance: the exposed worker and the vehicle driver or equipment operator are alerted simultaneously and in real time. The devices are autonomous, require no wiring, can be installed within seconds and fully configured in less than one minute through our application. Alert and neutralisation zones can be adapted to each site to focus on genuinely hazardous situations and reduce false alarms. The same individual device, worn on the wrist or attached to a helmet, can address several risks, including vehicle proximity, suspended loads and fa

Classification & Use Cases

Lifecycle stage(s) addressed:

Construction execution (field management, robotics, drones, logistics, site monitoring, QA/QC, safety)

Core technology types:

AI / machine learning, IoT / sensors / hardware (smart devices), Cloud / SaaS platform
Key use cases in practice:
Sharing Worker addresses a wide range of use cases across building, civil engineering, railway, motorway and industrial construction sites, where hazardous situations and accident risks remain present regardless of the type of work being carried out. The solutions detect co-activity risks in real time, notably by defining safety zones around vehicles, equipment, suspended loads or work areas. They are used in traffic, reversing, manoeuvring and loading zones, during roadworks under live traffic, lifting operations and exposure to suspended loads, as well as for workers facing fall risks. The system can protect a specific critical area or be deployed across an entire site. The data collected helps identify the most exposed areas, hazardous interactions, near misses and workforce adoption levels, enabling teams to improve traffic flows, training and prevention actions.
