Construction sites generate thousands of photos and videos every week, yet this visual record stays scattered across phones, WhatsApp groups, and personal folders. When a delay, defect, or payment dispute arises, teams cannot find the one image that proves what happened, so a single missing photo can trigger costly penalties, rework, and litigation. At the same time, verifying that the materials actually installed on site match what was specified and paid for in the Bills of Quantities is still a slow, manual process, leaving room for errors, waste, and fraud that often surface only after handover. Poder is a photo-based construction site documentation platform that turns everyday site photos and 360┬░ video scans into an organized, searchable visual record of the site. A site engineer captures photos or a 360┬░ scan in the Poder app, with no extra hardware and no manual data entry. Poder automatically classifies each capture by location, block, unit, and work stage, ending the “photo chaos” scattered across phones and WhatsApp groups. Its computer vision then reads on-site material tags and reconciles them against the project’s Bills of Quantities (BoQs), flagging discrepancies automatically instead of after handover. The output supports daily reporting, progress-payment evidence, and quality and handover verification. With Emlak Konut GYO, this cut unit handover documentation from three hours to ten minutes. Poder is built by architects and engineers who ran sites first and learned technology second, so it fits real field work.

How it works:

Poder is different in three ways. First, it is photo-first by design, automatically classifying every capture by location, block, unit, and work stage with no manual data entry and no extra hardware, so documentation happens just by walking the site. Second, it closes the loop between what is documented, built, and billed: its computer vision reads on-site material tags and 360┬░ scans and reconciles them against the project’s BoQs, flagging discrepancies automatically. Third, it is defensible, protected by a patent application (TP26-432) for a reference-image layering and angular-repeatability system that makes automated progress comparison reliable.

Key use cases in practice:
Working with an engineering and project management firm, Poder was used to run defect management and drive the handover of a project in Uzbekistan. In the closing phase of the project, site teams captured every defect directly in the Poder app, where each issue was documented in context, classified by location and work stage, and tracked through to resolution. Poder is founded by architects and engineers who ran construction sites before building software, so the product reflects how field work actually happens rather than how technologists imagine it.

Hilal Kurt ─░rfano─Яlu (Founder & CEO) is a licensed architect (─░T├Ь) with an M.Sc. in Construction Engineering and Management from Bo─Яazi├зi University and over a decade of on-site construction experience. Yavuz ─░rfano─Яlu (CTO) leads product and technology, translating deep field knowledge into Poder’s photo-based documentation and computer vision systems.

The team is supported by an AI engineer and a frontend developer, alongside an academic advisor, and operates from ─░T├Ь ARI Teknokent in Istanbul.
