Solution Overview
for
The construction industry owns billions of euros worth of machinery and equipment. When assets become surplus, underutilized, or reach the end of their operational lifecycle, companies often rely on fragmented, manual sales processes involving phone calls, emails, spreadsheets, and local dealer relationships. This leads to limited buyer reach, inconsistent machine documentation, low transparency, and suboptimal sales prices.
In addition, asset condition is frequently recorded in non-standardized formats, creating uncertainty and risk for buyers. Construction companies need a more efficient, transparent, and data-driven method to remarket equipment while retaining control over the sales process and maximizing residual asset value.
Our Solution:
Machine26 provides a cloud-based remarketing platform and digital inspection solution for used construction equipment.
Equipment owners use the Machine26 Inspection App to document machine condition through standardized digital inspections, photos, and operational data. The information is automatically converted into a professional digital equipment profile.
The equipment is then offered to either the client’s own buyer network, Machine26’s verified international dealer network, or both. Buyers submit binding bids through a structured and transparent process. Sellers can compare offers, manage communication digitally, and retain full control over whether to accept or reject bids.
The result is a faster, more efficient sales process that improves transparency, reduces administrative effort, and helps sellers achieve stronger resale outcomes.
How it works:
Unlike traditional equipment sales that depend on individual broker relationships or local dealer networks, Machine26 creates a scalable and transparent digital process that significantly broadens buyer access.
Our standardized inspection methodology increases trust and reduces information asymmetry between buyers and sellers. The platform also enables companies to maintain control of their existing buyer relationships while simultaneously reaching qualified international purchasers.
By transforming equipment remarketing from a manual transaction into a data-driven workflow, Machine26 helps customers increase efficiency, shorten sales cycles, and maximize asset value recovery.

Impact & SDGs
Contribution to any of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 8 тАУ Decent Work and Economic Growth Machine26 increases productivity in construction equipment management by reducing manual sales activities, shortening transaction cycles, and improving asset utilization across the industry. SDG 9 тАУ Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure By digitizing equipment remarketing and lifecycle management, Machine26 introduces innovative digital infrastructure that modernizes traditionally offline construction asset markets. SDG 12 тАУ Responsible Consumption and Production The platform extends equipment life by connecting machinery with new owners and markets, promoting reuse rather than premature replacement and reducing resource waste. SDG 13 тАУ Climate Action Extending the useful life of existing equipment lowers demand for manufacturing new machinery, helping reduce lifecycle carbon emissions associated with production. SDG 17 тАУ Partnerships for the Goals Machine26 creates a trusted ecosystem connecting contractors, rental companies, dealers, and equipment owners across borders, fostering industry collaboration and more circular asset flows.
