The adoption of electric construction equipment is still limited by two major challenges: available operating range and recharging. Onboard batteries provide only limited operating time, while recharging requires machine downtime, dedicated on-site infrastructure, or complex logistics such as moving equipment or deploying mobile charging solutions. These constraints reduce productivity and slow the transition to zero-emission machinery. To meet the operational demands of construction sites, access to energy must be rethought: enabling continuous operation through battery rotation while simplifying charging by moving only the battery packs rather than the machine itself.

Our Solution:

We have developed the ELH25.1, an electric mini excavator featuring the patented E-CUBE interchangeable battery system combined with an onboard battery swapping device.

When a battery reaches the end of its operating range, the operator can replace it with a fully charged one in less than three minutes, single-handedly, without effort and without moving the machine.

As a result, the excavator is no longer immobilized by battery range limitations or charging time, ensuring continuous operation through simple battery rotation.

Once removed from the machine, the batteries can be easily transported and recharged wherever electricity is available, using either a standard household outlet or an electric vehicle charging station, without requiring a grid connection on site or dedicated charging infrastructure.

This innovation makes electric equipment as simple and flexible to operate as conventional diesel-powered machines.

How it works:

ELHYTEтАЩs innovation lies in integrating a complete interchangeable battery system into a compact short-tail electric mini excavator. While existing electric solutions are constrained by limited operating range and lengthy charging times, our concept eliminates these challenges without introducing new operational constraints.

In addition, the batteries are designed for a long service life and can be reused across multiple generations of machines, enabling one of the most competitive total costs of ownership (TCO) in the electric construction equipment market.
