Solution Overview
for
Large commercial, industrial and public facilities still rely heavily on manual floor maintenance, creating high labour costs, inconsistent cleaning quality, water and chemical waste, and limited operational visibility. Cleaning is often treated as a repetitive task rather than a measurable facility-management process. Facilities also struggle to maintain consistent standards across large areas, multiple shifts and high-traffic environments. ARA addresses this gap by automating floor maintenance while continuously collecting operational and environmental data, enabling more efficient, measurable and sustainable facility operations.
Our Solution:
ARA Robotics develops autonomous robotic platforms for commercial and industrial facility operations, with ARI as its flagship autonomous floor-maintenance robot. ARI autonomously maps facilities, plans and executes cleaning tasks, detects and avoids people and obstacles, and operates across large indoor areas. Its modular architecture supports sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping and disinfection. Through AI-powered navigation, sensor fusion, task planning and operational analytics, ARI can work alongside people and automatically report performance. With Petek, its smart maintenance station, the robot can also autonomously recharge, refill, drain and manage water, enabling extended unattended operation.
How it works:
ARA combines robotics, AI, facility intelligence and sustainability into a single modular platform rather than offering a standalone cleaning machine. ARI uses multi-sensor fusion, AI-powered navigation, autonomous task planning and floor-condition inspection to transform floor maintenance into a measurable facility-management process. Its modular architecture allows different maintenance and inspection functions to be added without replacing the robot platform. The Petek maintenance station further enables autonomous water management and greywater recycling. This combination of physical automation, operational intelligence, modularity and resource efficiency differentiates ARA from conventi
