Its mission to serve the construction industry through education and leadership. The ABA Forum is divided into 14 different divisions (e.g. International Construction, Litigation & Dispute Resolution etc.).
The ABA Forum and Covid-19
Recently, the ABA Forum also engaged in issues related to Covid-19. In fact, fourteen separate webinars on Covid-19 and the construction industry were organized. The recordings and summaries can be made available to CICA members. “Bridging the Americas” Webinar Series
The ABA Forum is also engaged internationally. As an example, it recently launched the “Bridging the Americas” Webinar Series – engaging the Spanish and Portuguese speaking Americas in construction issues. This initiative comprises 4 virtual panel discussions on various topics (e.g. Potential Unenforceability Issues in Contract Provision, Damages, Standard of Care Issues, etc.). Please note, that these Webinar Series are free of charge.
A last session is still to be organized and CICA members are invited to suggest topics and join the panel.
