On the second day of this event, CICA held its General Assembly at the headquarters of Israel Builders Association (IBA), at the Tel Aviv Shalom Tower, a historical building that was built more than 60 years ago and was for many years the tallest building in all the Middle East.
The General Assembly counted on the presence of CICA President Irwin Perret, IBA President Raul Srugo, members of the board such as Philippe Dessoy and Daniel Tardy, full members, associate members and supporting members.
The meeting was held in hybrid, and some of the participants connected online via Zoom.
The General Assembly was the occasion for CICA to present its activity since December 2021 as well as its financial report. The CICA 8 Working Groups also presented their activities and actions, and Philippe Dessoy gave an overview of FIEC and EIC topicalities.
CICA president Irwin Perret took stock of the situation in the construction sector and expressed concerns about the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
It was decided that CICA will issue a position paper on inflation and how to deal with it, to help the construction sector reaching stakeholders in those institutions.
