Nicolas Mariscal

Nicolás Mariscal Torroella is a Civil Engineer from the Universidad Iberoamericana. He has a Masters in Construction Management from Stanford.

He founded the company COMAR (Covarrubias Mariscal) and currently serves as President of the Council of Marhnos, a company created in 1954.

He is a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF), where he co-founded the initiatives: Partnership Against Corruption (PACI) and Disaster Resource Network
(DRP). He belongs to The Group of 50 (G50), the Social Union of Mexican Entrepreneurs (USEM), and the Business Council of Latin America (CEAL). He is a Director of: Afianzadora Aserta, Aura Solar, Emerging Markets Forum, the Franco Mexican Strategic Council (CEFM) and the Inter American Dialogue (IAD).

For more than 30 years, he belonged to the Chief Executives Organization (CEO). He is a Counselor of the National Support Center for Epidemiological Contingencies and Disasters (CENACED), Junior Achievement (an organization dedicated to training young people in economics and business issues) and, the Inter American Foundation (IAF).

He is Vice President of Social Responsibility at the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry.

He is founder and president of the chair “BUILDING FOR THE COMMON GOOD AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.”

In 2022, he has been elected Vice President of CICA, the Confederation of International Contractors’ Associations.
