CICA – OCAJI Meeting, Tokyo

CICA Director General, Roger Fiszelson, visited the Japanese Federation of Construction (OCAJI) in Tokyo on the 8th of June 2015. He met with Yoshiro Yamaguchi, Chief Executive Director, Masato Otsubo, Executive Director, and Kazuyuki Yahara, General Manager International Affairs and Planning Division.

This meeting was the occasion to discuss several topics. Roger Fiszelson evoked the participation of CICA to CHINCA’s 6th International Infrastructure and Investment Construction Forum in Macau on the 4th and 5th of June.

He also detailed the works currently done by the different CICA working groups with the idea to strengthen the ties between OCAJI and CICA and to involve OCAJI and its members more in the works.

Finally OCAJI and CICA discussed:

  • the possible ways to develop the cooperation between the companies of the federation members of CICA;
  • the participation of CICA jointly with the European International Contractors (EIC) in the latest works of the Multilateral Development Banks working group on Abnormally Low Tenders. This working group being under the leadership of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
